Policy & Terms

  • Plant Returns:
    • Plants are perishable items. Intermountain Nursery provides healthy, retail quality plants. Intermountain Nursery is not responsible for the health or condition of plants after purchase. The IMN Team is not obligated to accept returned plants.

  • Refunds:
    • Refunds can be provided for specific products, with return of the item, and the receipt from time of purchase. The following items can be returned if proper conditions are met.
      • Garden Supply Products:
        • Fertilizers, Garden Soils, Manure, Concentrates, Gopher Baskets, Sprays, Pest Control Products, Other.
        • Item must be undamaged, intact, and unopened. Must provide receipt from time of purchase. Must be returned within 1 week of purchase.
      • Tools:
        • Un-damaged and clean, with original packaging and labels. Must have receipt from time of purchase. Must be returned within 1 week of purchase.
      • Pottery:
        • Undamaged and clean. Must provide receipt from time of purchase. Must be returned within 1 week of purchase.
      • Gift Items:
        • Un-damaged, un-used, with tags. Must have receipt from time of purchase.

  • Bulk Materials:
    • Intermountain Nursery does not accept the return of any bulk products after sale. This includes but is not limited to, planting mix, mulch, and compost.

  • Gift Certificates:
    • The amount is determined by the purchaser and payment in full is due at the time of purchase. Individual Gift certificates shall not be made in excess of $500.00. There is no expiration date on gift certificates.

  • High Elevation Tree Policy:
    • We caution all high elevation customers, 4,500ft and above, of the hard, last minute freeze around Memorial Day. For trees going up in elevation we recommend pre-paying for your tree in January and returning to pick up AFTER this threat of freeze has passed. The recommended planting season for high elevations areas is June 1st thru mid-September.
    • The Intermountain Nursery team insures that all high elevation customers are aware of the possibility of tree mortality if said tree is taken before the recommended time. Receipts for trees that are taken earlier than the recommended date of June 1st, will be stamped VOID, and will not be eligible for reimbursed, if required. The purpose of this policy is quality assurance.
    • The team at Intermountain Nursery will update you of any issues & will care for your tree until it’s picked up.
